How do I follow a diet and cook for my family?
The first thing we are going to remove is the word diet. Eating, cooking, exercising is all about a lifestyle. If you personally want to lose weight then you need a lifestyle change. You need to educate yourself on what is a healthy lifestyle. It is more than just eating the right foods.
Begin by examining your eating habits. What, where, types of foods you eat and cook. Do you eat outside of the home, if so where do you eat?
Then begin to make changes. Replace your snacks with healthy foods. Get rid of the chips, sweets, and replace with fruit, veggies, and things that are healthy. Become very familiar with what you and your family eat.
One of the hardest obstacles I had to overcome was cooking. I had to learn how to cook healthy. This takes time and effort.
